John Knox Village residents came out in force to help celebrate
the four-day grand opening weekend of the nearby Pompano Beach Cultural Center. They attended the spectacular ribbon-cutting ceremony, a Preview Party fundraiser, Havana Night celebration and a Sunday Family Day with the Florida Grand opera.
“The opening of the Cultural Center was truly one of the most
exciting events in our City’s history,” said Mayor Lamar Fisher.
“There had been so much anticipation surrounding this day, and everyone who attended was dazzled by the iconic beauty of this
venue as much as the incredible performances.”
