Travel Experiences Make Resident Couple Road Scholars

senior travel

POMPANO BEACH –1/21/2016 John Knox Village offers a carefree lifestyle allowing its more than 900 seniors the time to indulge in hobbies and volunteering with organizations both on and off the 70-acre campus in Pompano Beach.

One of the residents’ numerous passions is traveling across the United States and to destinations around the world. When residents leave John Knox Village for extended periods of time they know that their home will be taken care of during their absence.

Two such residents, Diane and John Dalsimer, recently have been selected as new Ambassadors to the Road Scholar program, the premiere educational travel leader since 1975. As Ambassadors, the Dalsimers are available for speaking engagements to South Florida organizations.

Diane and John are willing share their personal travel experiences, lifelong learning opportunities and information about Road Scholar, all free of charge. If your organization wishes to book the Dalsimers as guest speakers at an upcoming event, please contact the John Knox Village Public Relations Department at (954) 784-4726 or e-mail (events@jkvfl.com).

The Dalsimers began traveling with Road Scholar in 1995 and have since attended programs focusing on many places across the United States and abroad, including Brittany and Normandy, China, the Lewis and Clark expedition across the United States and several different locations in Italy.
