It has been several years in the making, and John Knox Village’s dream of opening a revolutionary new skilled nursing center is finally becoming a reality.
On Thursday, May 26, the Life Plan Community in Pompano Beach will welcome the surrounding community and State officials to the Grand Opening celebration for The Woodlands at John Knox Village.
“With the opening of The Woodlands, it reaffirms us as a leading health care provider in the State of Florida. Our residents, Board of Directors and staff are forward thinking. Now, we can offer quality nursing care and innovative rehab for many years to come,” said Gerry Stryker, President/CEO.
The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. at The Woodlands’ front entrance and will feature several
special guest speakers, including Dr. Bill Thomas, Founder of THE GREEN HOUSE® Project.
There also will be tours, lunch and some musical entertainment.
